HOME CARETAKING

Hannaford Properties LLC provides the following services for absentee property owners:

• Verify all doors and windows are secure, check for any signs of vandalism or break-ins. Run water in all sinks and bathroom fixtures monthly to assure sufficient water remains in drain traps, and that the plumbing system is functioning satisfactorily. During the winter months (October to April) cycle the heating system to assure proper operation, once per month. Verify that the propane level (if applicable) is sufficient, arrange for delivery if required. Notify the owner immediately of any items that require maintenance or of any concerns or damage to the property.
• Frequency of the inspections can be weekly, bi weekly or monthly as requested by the owner.
• Cost for the services is dependent upon the frequency, property type and location.
• Other services are optional and will be performed at the owner’s request:
  • Provide access to the home for deliveries or work to be performed remain on site and secure the home upon completion.
    1. Turn up heating system
    2. Turn on Refrigerator/Freezer/ Ice Maker
    3. Turn up hot water heater
    4. Turn on lights as requested
    5. Water trees and shrubs
    6. Other items as requested by owners

A monthly report will be made to the owners showing the dates of the visits and the status of the property.
